As reported by InsuranceAsia News, Rare Earth Insurance Partner’s Chief Executive Wang Wei shares his perspective:
“Many renewal quotes are still outstanding and few renewals have been finalised – this is entirely normal in the China market. Reinsurers are generally demanding inflationary rises and increases to deal with greater cat exposures.”
“War losses in Ukraine have massively disrupted the marine and war markets, where much uncertainty still exists. Many war renewals remain incomplete.”
